Pulaski County finished their annual Feud for Food Drive collecting a total of 65,729 food items that will distributed to area food banks, organizations, and churches.    This is a record breaking year for PC Schools. 

The South Schools beat the North Schools by 27,727 items.  The North collected 19,001 items and the South 46,728 items.   Congratulations to the South Schools!!  The winning school was Southern Middle School which collected a total of 34,183 items.  This equals to 7 1/2 Tons of food and the money collected will serve 72,000 meals.   

Pictured delivering the first box to God's Food Pantry is Giddeon Brainard, SMS student, Dwight Richards, Assist. Principal of SMS,  Jeremy Cole, Teacher at SMS, and Brenda Russell, Director of God's Food Pantry.  SMS will get to hold on to the "Coveted Compassion Cup" for another year.
