I. COMMUNICATIONS/REPORTS
- CERTIFIED/CLASSIFIED PERSONNEL ACTIONS: Reported to Board.
- SUPERINTENDENT’S REPORT: Assistant Superintendent Steve Butcher explained the district is to receive a playground grant from the Kentucky Division of Waste Management. The grant allow $45,000 to be used to install recycled tire rubber chips. Oak Hill will receive the first installment as being most in need with Memorial Education Center next followed by the other seven elementary schools based on need.
- Superintendent Tim Eaton announced CTBS scores are in and Carole Hancock, District Assessment Coordinator, will report the scores at the next board meeting.
- Congratulations to Mr. Eaton in receiving KEDC Outstanding Superintendent of the Year.
- RETIREMENT RESOLUTION: Assistant Superintendent Steve Butcher read a retirement resolution to the Board with deepest appreciation and respect for employee Paula Flynn.
II. ACTION ITEMS APPROVED WITH DISCUSSION
- TREASURER’S REPORT/AUTHORIZE PAYMENT OF BILLS: Approved
- AMEND CERTIFIED/CLASSIFIED SALARY SCHEDULE 2004-2005: Approved a 2% pay raise for certified and classified employees.
- PAYROLL DATES FOR FISCAL YEAR 2004-2005: Approved

- SURPLUS PROPERTY: 1977 Ford Bucket Truck declared as surplus property.
