II. RECOGNITION

  1. GOOD CHARACTER SALUTES: Recognized Responsibility recipients, student Andrew Crawford from Northern Middle School and adult recipient Gary Vanhook from Woodstock Elementary.
  2. PULASKI COUNTY STUDENT TRAVEL GROUP: Northern Middle School teacher, Mary Jane Brown and students reports on their trip to Italy.

III. COMMUNICATIONS/REPORTS

  1. CERTIFIED/CLASSIFIED/APPROVED VOLUNTEER PERSONNEL ACTIONS: Reported to Board.
  2. STUDENT DROP-OUT REPORT: .7%
  3. SUPERINTENDENT’S REPORT: Superintendent Tim Eaton discussed the growth in district enrollment; disappointment in the health insurance plan; and announced the GAP (Golden Age Program) breakfast to be held Friday, Sept. 17th at 9:00 a.m. at Burnside Elementary and the Southwestern High School Conservation Club and Raptor Center 5th Annual Open House to be held on Saturday, Sept. 18th from 10:00-2:00 at the SWHS Raptor Center.

  4. WORKING BUDGET 2004-2005: Approved 5.2 million.
  5. CHANGE ORDER #10 PCHS PHASE VI PROJECT: Approved

  6. KYREADS 2004-2005 AMERICORPS PROGRAM MOA: Approved
  7. POSTAGE METER LEASE PCHS: Approved
