II. RECOGNITION
- GOOD CHARACTER SALUTES: Recognized Loyalty recipients, student Michael Fleming from Pulaski County High School and adult recipient Danny Grider from Pulaski County High School.
- Recognized Director of Student and Community Services, Sonya Wilds for her KECSAC (Kentucky Educational Collaborative for State Agency Children) State Administrator of the Year award.
III. COMMUNICATIONS/REPORTS
- CERTIFIED/CLASSIFIED/APPROVED VOLUNTEER PERSONNEL ACTIONS: Reported to Board.
- STUDENT DROP-OUT REPORT: .8%
- SUPERINTENDENT’S REPORT: Assistant Superintendent Marlene Haney reported on fall academy results and projected spending of ESS monies. Superintendent Tim Eaton reported that he attended a press conference in Frankfort about health insurance and reported the release of CATS testing results on October 13, 2004.

V. ACTION ITEMS APPROVED BY CONSENT
- SCHOOL FUND RAISER REQUEST: Approved school wide fundraiser for Pulaski Central.
- EXTRA-CURRICULAR TRIP REQUESTS: Approved trip request for Pulaski County High School business and technology students to New York City; trip for Southwestern High School Marine Biology class to Belize City and trip for PCHS and SWHS DECA students to New York.
- DECLARE SURPLUS PROPERTY: Declared various functional and non-functional technology equipment as surplus property.
- ADDENDUM TO LOCAL VENDORS BID: Added Medistat and Cumberland Surveying to the local vendors list.
