II. RECOGNITION
- GOOD CHARACTER SALUTES: Recognized adult Respect recipient Amy Cress from Woodstock Elementary. Student recipient Matt Perry from Northern Middle unable to attend.
- KAES OUTSTANDING EDUCATOR AWARD: Recognized Margaret Mauney for KAES Educator of the Year Award.
- CAREER & TECHNICAL EDUCATION TEACHERS: Recognized Pulaski County High School and Southwestern High School Career and Technical teachers for meeting their accountability goals as established by the Kentucky Department of Education Career and Technical division. The Pulaski County program was 1 of only 10 districts in the state to reach their goal. Pulaski County High School teachers recognized: Greg Barron, Susie Dugger, Dr. Mike Crowhurst, Shannon Foster, Linda Gover, Beth Hargis, Lisa Hurt, James Murray, Jimmy Wheeldon, and Anita Link. Southwestern High School teachers included: Edwin Allin, Darry Burkett, Sharon Flynn, Ron Hall, Chris McDonald, Danny Keith, Louise Simpson, Teresa Winget and Tonja Vanover
- BOARD MEMBER SERVICE: Recognized outgoing board member Jim Wilson for exemplary service.
III. COMMUNICATIONS/REPORTS
- CERTIFIED/CLASSIFIED/APPROVED VOLUNTEER PERSONNEL ACTIONS: Reported to Board.
- STUDENT DROP-OUT REPORT: 1.3%
- SUPERINTENDENT’S REPORT: Assistant Superintendent Marlene Haney reported on the District Improvement Plan and Superintendent Tim Eaton reported on the Parent and Community Involvement report and Universal Service Funds offer of $180,000 for technology reimbursement.

- TREASURER’S REPORT, AUTHORIZE PAYMENT OF BILLS: Approved
- CONTRACT DRUG AND ALCOHOL COUNSELORS: Approved 2 available positions. Job descriptions available in personnel.
- SECONDARY GED PROGRAM: Available for qualifying students after KDE approval.
- CREATE/AMEND/ABOLISH PERSONNEL POSITIONS: Approved creation of 2 UNITE school drug counselors, GED instructional assistant. Abolished Special Education Aide position at Oak Hill Elementary.
- BG-4 AND FINAL PAYMENT PCHS PHASE VI PROJECT: Approved

- MINUTES NOVEMBER 9, 2004: Approved
- WORKER’S COMPENSATION INSURANCE: Awarded to KSBIT for a period of 6 months.
- SFCC KETS OFFER OF ASSISTANCE CONTRACT 2005: Approved
- NON-RESIDENT PUPIL CONTRACTS 2005-2006: Approved for Science Hill Independent, Somerset Independent, Lincoln County Schools, Casey County Schools, Laurel County Schools, McCreary County Schools, Rockcastle County Schools, Russell County Schools, Monticello Independent and Wayne County Schools.
- AMERICORPS/SSCC CONTRACT 2005-2006: Approved
- MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING PCHS FIRING RANGE AGREEMENT: Approved
- EARLY GRADUATION REQUESTS PULASKI CENTRAL: Approved
- EXTRA-CURRICULAR TRIP REQUEST SWHS CHEERLEADERS: Approved
- 2005 CUSTODIAL BID RECOMMENDATION/AWARD: Approved
- ADDENDUM TO LOCAL VENDORS BID: Added Lumber King, Momar Chemicals, Area Plumbing and Electric Supply, Acorn Naturalists, H.B. Sherman Trapps, Inc., Cumberland Surveying, McGowan Excavating, Mike’s Carpentry, J Frank Publishing, Cobler’s Painting and Allen’s Supplies to the approved vendor’s list.
