  1. Randy Frye, KECSAC Teacher of the Year.  Day Treatment Administrator, Dave Fraley presented Randy Frye with his KECSAC (Kentucky Educational Collaborative for State Agency Children) award.

II. COMMUNICATIONS/REPORTS

  1. Personnel Actions-Certified/Classified/Approved Volunteers: Approved
  2. Student Drop-Out Report: .71%
  3. Superintendent’s Report
    1. Fall Academy Report, Mardi Montgomery: Director of Special Programs, Mardi Montgomery presented the Pulaski Youth Leadership Program schedule and reported that fall academy numbers averaged 144 students less than last year.
    2. Student Intervention, Angela Murphy: Northern Middle School Principal, Angela Murphy presented the AIMS (Achieving in Middle Schools) student intervention program that is currently in place at NMS.
    3. Assessment, Carole Hancock: District Assessment Coordinator, Carole Hancock presented the 2007 KCCT scores and reportsertified/Classified Personnel Actions: Reported to Board

  1. Treasurer’s Report/Authorize Payment of Bills: Approved
  2. Change Order, Nancy Elementary School Addition: Approved
  3. KISTA Participation Resolution: Approved

  2. Revise Procedure 09.36 AP.22: Approved
  3. ARC District Representation: Approved
  4. Lease Agreement Copier: Approved
  5. Lease Agreement Postage Machine: Approved
  6. Out of State Trip Requests: Approved Pulaski County High School drama trip to New York City March 19-22, 2008.
  7. Use of Facilities Requests: Approved the use of the PCHS cafeteria for the PC Farm Bureau Annual Meeting, use of PCHS auditorium by Lake Cumberland Children’s Theatre and the use of the PCHS gym by Missy’s Gymnastics.
  8. School Wide Fund Raising Request: Approved Oak Hill Elementary Book Fair
  9. Surplus Property/Technology Items: Declared various technology items as surplus property.
  10. Shortened School Day Request: Approved
  11. Addendum to Approved Vendors List: Added Superior Ready Mix, Kaesar and Blair, M&S Masonry, Owens Inc. and JATS Screen Printing to the approved vendors list.
