- PRISM Recipients: Recognized Administrative recipient, Lynn Ashbrook, Elementary level recipient, Amanda Brown from Nancy Elementary, Secondary recipients, Tammy Roberts from Day Treatment and Martin Wheeldon from Pulaski County High School and Middle School level recipient, Jason Sammons from Southern Middle.

- Superintendent’s Report: Superintendent Tim Eaton reported that preparation has begun for a state review scheduled for the district January 14-18, 2008, as a result of NCLB Tier III status. Eaton also reported that newly appointed Commissioner of Education, Jon Draud recently addressed the Kentucky Association of School superintendents (KASS) in Louisville. The association agreed that fully funded all day kindergarten will be its top priority for the upcoming legislative session.

- Out of State Trip Requests: Approved SWHS cheerleaders trip to Orlando and NMS choir trip to Washington, DC.
