We are high achievers…

We are home to environmental, technology, and reading programs that have received national recognition. Our high schools offer advanced, honors, and AP classes in chemistry, biology, Spanish physics, calculus, environmental science, history, English, foreign languages, art, music and others. Our schools have technology, math, and science labs for experimental and application activities and boast successful academic and quick recall teams.

Our students receive many state and national honors including a recent National Essay Winner, a finalist at the National DECA Conference, and invitations to participate in national forums. Many students obtain Professional Technology and Skills Standards Certifications and we boast numerous AP Scholars, Governors’ Scholars, National Merit Finalists, NHS National Honorees, and scholarship awardees to prestigious universities each year.

Over 70% of our teachers have masters and/or advanced degrees and certifications beyond the master’s level. Our 3 state semi-finalists for Kentucky Teacher of the Year, state Guidance Counselor of the Year, state finalist for the Elementary Science Teacher Award, multiple Campbellsville Award for Excellence in Teaching recipients, Wal-Mart Teacher of the Year, state Biology Teacher of the Year, National Presidential Awardee, and state Marketing Teacher of the Year are just a few examples of how Pulaski County’s teachers and staff are proving that they are some of the best. We also provide a Teacher Academy for first through third year teachers that gives the support they need to develop into master teachers.
