Pulaski County High School FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America) recently competed at the state conference in Louisville, KY on April 18-20.  At the conference, fifty-four students competed and attended a variety of workshops and assemblies.  The keynote speaker this year was Tony Lamb, founder and CEO of KONA Ice.  Tony’s message was for students to be inspired and take a risk for things they believe in.

At the conference awards ceremony, Pulaski County students walked away with 9 Awards including: 1st Place-Agribusiness-Koby Hargis, 1st Place-Insurance and Risk Management-Kaylee Abbott, 3rd Place-Contemporary Sports Issues-Micah Wooldridge, 3rd Place-Management Information Systems-Kyra LaRue, Taylor Cooper, Makayla Ping, 3rd Place-Introduction to Business-Kamil Cooke, 4th Place-Business Ethics-Allison Wells, Laura Estes, Jasmine Hall, 4th Place-Largest Local Chapter Membership with 222 Members, 5th Place-Local Chapter Scrapbook—Brittany Thomas, Kaitlyn Thomas and Mariah Spradlin, 5th Place-Spreadsheet Applications---Madison Turner.

Ten students advanced to National Competition in Atlanta, GA during the dates of June 29th-July 3rd
