WorkKeys®
• WorkKeys® is a nationally recognized assessment tool that employers can use to
identify workers for skilled jobs, and workers or potential workers can use to
identify their employability skills. You are tested in 3 skill areas: (1)
applied mathematics, (2) locating information, and (3) reading for information.
A score of 5 gets you the GOLD.
A score of 4 gets you the SILVER.
• The “Gold Employability Certificate” indicates that the recipient has the
skill level or achievement found in 80 percent of the jobs in the workplace; the
“Silver Employability Certificate,” 50 percent of the jobs in the workplace. The
certificate is signed by the Governor of Kentucky!

Commonwealth of Kentucky Employability Certificate!
