State Required Assessments:
ACCESS: This test is to determine the proficiency of language skills for ELL students. .
ACT: The ACT is administered to all grade 11 students at no cost to the families. The test will be administered in the spring (March) each year.
EOC: The End of Course exam is administered to students that have applied for "intent for early graduation" in the areas of English II, US History, Algebra II and Biology. Students must score Proficient on the exams to be eligible for the early graduation option.
EOP/Industry Cert: The End of Program or Industry Certification exams are given to students who participate in or complete designated career pathway courses. This is a measure of career readiness.
KSA/Alternate KSA: The KSA (Ky Summative Assessment) assessment will be administered to students in grades 3 - 8, 10 and 11 within the last 14 instructional days of school. The Alternate KSA will be administered in the fall (November - December) and in the spring (April - May) for grades 3 - 8, 10 and 11. This is the state required assessment to determine proficiency in Reading, Math, Science, Social Studies and Writing.
