Superintendent's Message [4]
System User

Winter is upon us and we are ramping up for the weather.  This year we are using a new call system called SendIt.  It should work like our previous call system, but when the snow and Ice starts forming, if you don’t get a call, text, or email, please call our office and we will get you on the list.  This year we have the opportunity again to use #iLearn Pulaski Days.  Every snow day is not an #iLearn Pulaski Day, so listen to the announcements and when the day is called I will also let you know if it is an #iLearn Pulaski Day or not.

I also want to take this opportunity to brag on our schools.  With the assessment results that were released in October using the new STAR rating system from the state, our schools ranged from three to  five stars.  Pulaski County High School and Southwestern High School were both rated four stars and both with 98% graduation rates.  We are also very proud to announce that Southern Elementary was rated a five star school.  We have great learning opportunities in our schools, with our district as a whole ranked in the top 25% of the state.

I would like to thank all our stakeholders and community members for their support and for making this a very successful year for Pulaski County Schools and for helping us prepare our children for their future!
